Privacy Policy — Mexican Train: All Aboard

Effective date: 2026-05-30 Last updated: 2026-05-30

Mexican Train: All Aboard (“the app”) is built on a simple promise: nothing about your games leaves your phone unless you hand it to someone, on purpose, on your local Wi-Fi.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, no advertising network, and no server we talk to. It does not phone home.

Everything the app records — your games, scores, photos of your dominoes, player names, and house-rule settings — lives only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Device permissions we ask for

The app requests two iOS permissions, used only on your device:

You can revoke either permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security at any time. Camera-off means you can still enter scores by hand. Local-network-off means you can still play solo on one phone.

Data shared with other players at the table

When you invite another iPhone to join a game over local network:

This exchange happens only between iPhones on the same Wi-Fi network (or a direct peer-to-peer link Apple’s framework establishes between them). It is not relayed through us or any third party.

Children’s privacy

The app is suitable for ages 4 and up. Because we collect no information from anyone, we collect no information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top. Material changes would also be noted in the app’s “What’s New” release notes on the App Store.
